Scott Dale

Scott Dale is a rising singer-songwriter from Boulder, Colorado. He was raised in Oklahoma City where he began to develop his musical craft around age 10. Scott Dale's Oklahoma roots are evident in his skillful songwriting and guitar playing but his album-rock heritage tips the genre scale a bit more toward the rock scene than country. However, many of his songs can certainly go either way.

You can hear a strong influence of the 1970’s L.A. music scene in Scott Dale’s music. Laced into his somewhat country songwriting you'll hear influences from Jackson Browne, Neil Young, Poco, Lyle Lovett, The Eagles, and even a little Led Zeppelin. The fact that he must have watched Buck Owens on Saturday afternoon television in the 1960’s won’t surprise you either. Even if you are not a pure country listener but don’t mind getting a little mud on your boots every now and then, then you’ll love his music.

The musicians on his debut CD, "Tiny Diamonds", include Rusty Young (Poco) on pedal steel, Nick Forster (Hot Rize) on guitar, Daniel Sproul (Rose Hill Drive) on lead guitar, and many other talented players. They deliver the music on the same level as your favorite 70's vinyl but with a bit of a modern edge.
